Subcontracted by broadband provider, Fibrus, Charles Brand delivered superfast broadband infrastructure to rural area across Counties Down, Antrim, Fermanagh, Tyrone and L'Derry.
The works are part of the £350 million of capital development in broadband infrastructure across Northern Ireland.

Commenting on the work, Niall McGill, Managing Director of Charles Brand, said: "We've been successfully delivering the roll-out of superfast broadband infrastructure for the past 18 months now. The initial works were part of Project Acorn and in recent times we've embarked on the roll-out of the NI Assembly-backed multi-million pound Project Stratum for our client, Fibrus. Our teams are working right across Northern Ireland and have been delivering up to 9 miles of new broadband infrastructure per day. We're focused on providing this new infrastructure to up to 100,000 homes and businesses in 2021."
