Draft South Dublin County Development Plan 2022-2028 Launches Online

The Draft South Dublin County Development Plan 2022-2028 has now launched online.

South Dublin County Council commenced a review of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2016-2022 on 31 July 2020 and a new South Dublin County Development Plan for the period 2022 to 2028 will be made in August next year.

Stage 2 of the development plan and public consultation process commenced on 7 July 2021 and will run until 15 September 2021.

The South Dublin County Draft Development Plan (the Draft Plan) sets out the framework to guide future development with a focus on the places we live, the places we work, and how we interact and move between these places while protecting our environment. The aim is to progress to a more sustainable development pattern for South Dublin in the immediate and long-term future up to 2040 and beyond.
