Bord Gáis Energy has teamed up with Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades.
The new partnership will enable Bord Gáis Energy to offer a range of innovative in-home solutions to its customers, further extending its portfolio of products and services.
Bord Gáis Energy customers can receive energy credits when qualifying Energlaze energy-saving products are installed in their homes. For example, a customer carrying out external insulation on their house could qualify for an SEAI grant of €6000 and get an additional €472 in energy credits by being a customer of Bord Gáis Energy and Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades.
To mark the launch of the partnership Bord Gáis Energy customers, who have signed up to the Rewards Club, can avail of a 10% discount on an Energlaze solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Installing solar PV panels will not only reduce electricity bills, but also a householder’s dependency on fossil fuels and their carbon footprint.
Colin Bebbington, Retail Director with Bord Gáis Energy, said: "As a leading energy and services supplier, Bord Gáis Energy is committed to providing products and services to help customers manage their homes more efficiently. We’re focused on reducing our carbon footprint and helping our customers and colleagues to do the same. We’re delighted to join with a market-leading company in Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades to extend our offerings and facilitate greater access to home energy services for our customers."
Peter Campbell, Managing Director of Energlaze, said: "This is a great opportunity for the customers of both companies. We can offer our customers even better value by availing of energy credits from Bord Gáis Energy and at the same time we can offer Bord Gáis Energy customers a 'one stop shop' for all their energy upgrade requirements. I look forward to working with Bord Gáis Energy over the coming years and hopefully together we can play a significant part in helping the country to achieve its ambitious target of retrofitting 500,000 homes by 2030."
