Contractors Commence Work On £175,000 Resurfacing Project In Ballymoney

Contractors have started work on a £175,000 road resurfacing project in Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

The works are taking place on the A26 Newbridge Road and will extend from Taughey Road towards Coleraine for a distance of approximately 900 metres.

A weekday single lane road closure will be put in place on the A26 Newbridge Road, Monday to Friday, between 9.30am and 4pm. This will be in operation from Monday 5 October 2020 until Friday 16 October with Coleraine bound traffic being diverted along the B62 Ballybogey Road, B67 Ballyrashane Road and the A29 Coleraine Ring Road.

A full road closure of the A26 Newbridge Road will also be required between Taughey Road and Damhead Road from Saturday 17 October to Sunday 18 October between the hours of 7.30am and 7pm. A signed two-way diversion will be in place along the B62 Ballybogey Road, B67 Ballyrashane Road and the A29 Coleraine Ring Road.

Additional temporary traffic control measures may also be in operation at other times.
