The work is taking place on a section of the B40 Moneyneaney Road, from Moydamlaght Road to Drumderg Road. The scheme, which is approximately 2 kilometres in length, is scheduled for completion by Wednesday 28 October 2020.

As part of the overall delivery of the scheme, 1.1 kilometres of existing footway will be resurfaced from St Eoghan’s Primary school to Gortinari and 50 metres of infill footway will be constructed from Gortinari to the footbridge, to help promote safe and sustainable travel in the area.

During the road closure a two-way traffic diversion will be in operation via Dungiven, A6 Glenshane Road, A29 Flyover Slip Road at Maghera, Tobermore, Draperstown.
