Charles Brand has appointed Seamus Given as a new Advisor to its Board.
Seamus Given, who joins Charles Brand from CityFibre, will lead on business development, strategy and growth of the Telecoms Services Division for Charles Brand.
To date, Charles Brand have successfully delivered Full Fibre Broadband to more than 10,000 homes across Northern Ireland through Project Acorn and their successful association with Fibrus, Northern Ireland's newest Hyperfast Fibre Broadband Provider, as part of a project to roll out networks to 100,000 plus premises across Northern Ireland, with extensive backhaul networks and associated works.
Providing turnkey infrastructure solutions in partnership with specialist cable and activations partner company, Viberoptix, Charles Brand brings a wealth of experience in end-to-end programme and project management and delivery capability from within their Utilities and Civil Engineering Divisions, together with strong back office support in HSEQ, Information Management Systems, HR, Finance, and are ISO-accredited.
The five year partnership with Fibrus affords Charles Brand the opportunity to invest in people and are already establishing a training centre to develop operational skills and accreditations in the telecoms industry to ensure delivery of their projects and create employment for hundreds of operatives within the group. Plans are also underway to develop a network planning and design capability within the company with additional seasoned telecoms construction personnel being added at managerial level.
