Conway Piling has ended 2019 on a high with success on a number of prestigious projects across the country.
The company was appointed by MMD Construction to design, supply, install and test piled foundations for the new Aldi Superstore in Tramore, Co Wexford.
This project consisted of supplying and installing 153 No 275mm x 275mm sq fully reinforced, precast concrete piles and saw cutting and crunch down of excess piles on site.
Elliot Group also appointed Conway Piling to carry out mini piling works for a new housing development in Glensavage, Blackrock.
This site was a minimum access site in a lovely residential area therefore requiring a minimum vibration piling solution for eight new houses and 2No Apartment Blocks.
Conway Piling installed 457 No 220mm diameter, min. vibration, bottom driven steel tube mini piles. They also installed 114No 350mm dia. CFA piles for a boundary wall.
Bretland Construction also approached the firm to carry out mini piling works for a Hotel Extension to the Ripley Court Hotel in Dublin.
Conway Piling installed 32 No, 220mm dia bottom driven steel tube mini piles for this project.
Conway Piling manufactures its own CE certified, fully reinforced precast concrete piles at their manufacturing yard in Co Kildare. They partner with an Independent Geotechnical Engineering company for pile design and an Independent Acoustics company for pile testing.
Conway Piling provides precast concrete driven piles, timber piles and steel piles, working with a fleet of Junttan piling rigs for the larger piling works and bespoke piling rigs for projects with limited access and requiring minimum vibration.
With such machines the company has the capability to carry out driven piling works for projects such as: Housing developments, Industrial Buildings, Foundations for roads, rail and bridges and Foundations for wind turbine construction etc. The company also carries out projects for private clients who are building or extending their home or requiring remedial works to an existing build.
