Work Begins On St. Teresa's Gardens Redevelopment
Dublin's Lord Mayor, Nial Ring, will perform a sod turning ceremony at St. Teresa's Gardens to mark the start of the latest phase of construction of 54 new housing units at St. Teresa's Gardens, Donore Avenue, Dublin 8. This phase includes 16 apartments, 28 three-bedroom terraced houses and 10 two-bedroom terraced houses.
Speaking about the event the Lord Mayor said: "This latest phase in the ongoing regeneration works in St. Teresa's Gardens continues the huge amount of work already done in rejuvenating this area. The provision of an additional 54 new housing units is especially welcome and I am delighted to see the plans include a fantastic new park and playground that will further enhance not only the area but the lives of the people who are fortunate to live here."
The Parks & Landscapes Services Division will shortly commence a consultation process with the key local stakeholders with regards the proposed park (including playground), pitch and municipal facility.
