FP McCann has helped support a new housing development on Moneymore Road in Magherafelt, Co Londonderry, with its range of precast concrete solutions.
The Foxfield Hall site will consist of 120 semi-detached and detached homes, built by local developer, Valor Homes.
The first phase of the development is close to completion.
FP McCann's nearby manufacturing facility has supplied a large range of precast concrete drainage products, including a DN2400 Stormbrake™ chamber and flow-control device to regulate the stormwater runoff on the housing development. StormBrake™ is manufactured using grade 304L stainless steel for increased durability, strength and resistance to corrosion and chemical damage. It consists of three main parts: an inlet section, a vortex chamber and an outlet. Each part can be configured to provide the most efficient solution to specific site requirements.
FP McCann's precast concrete pipes, catchpits, easi-bases™, manhole rings, BT comms boxes, cover slabs, seating slabs, trapped gullies, dwarf walls and garden edging have also been supplied.
Site manager Adrian Quigg said: "We chose FP McCann's Stormbake™ system because it is manufactured in a factory-controlled environment, producing a strong high-quality watertight structured walled chamber, eliminating wastage associated with in-situ construction. Being delivered as a one-piece modular solution has reduced installation time and cost on-site, as well as minimising health and safety risks. FP McCann's precast concrete drainage products were all supplied to the highest standard on a just-in-time delivery schedule."
