Larne FC's newly refurbished Inver Park has been officially opened following months of investment.
The stadium was opened on Wednesday, 17 September, ahead of a friendly with Glasgow Rangers.
The ground was purchased by Larne FC earlier this year and has undergone several upgrades, including the installation of a new 4g pitch and a new stand.
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Lindsay Millar, and council Chief Executive, Anne Donaghy, were invited to officially reveal the new main stand.
The Mayor said: "The sale of Inver Park has proved hugely successful and the right move for both Larne FC, and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
"Kenny Bruce set out ambitious plans for the ground and a fantastic vision for the future of Larne FC and the local community.
"He has delivered all that he promised – and more – and it is brilliant to see the Larne people fall back in love with their team.
"Inver Park is a hub of sporting activity and has is widely used and enjoyed by the people of Larne. The club has been part of the fabric of the town for generations and will be for many more thanks to the commitment of Mr Bruce and everybody at Larne FC."
Chief Executive of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Anne Donaghy, added: "We have worked extremely closely with Mr Bruce and his team and I have been hugely impressed by his vision and ambition for Larne Football Club.
"What Mr Bruce and those connected with the club have done for football in Larne and across the borough already has been nothing short of phenomenal. There is a great buzz around the whole area, with fans uniting behind the team as it continues to make headlines and capture the imagination.”
