Edenderry Link Road Proposed

Plans have been proposed to build a link road in Edenderry, Co Offaly, from Granary Court to Fairgreen.

The project would involve the construction of 190 metres of single carriageway, 7.0m wide, along with 190 linear metres of a 2m wide footpath with pedestrian crossings, associated kerbing, drainage, services, public lighting, landscaping and boundary treatment.

A new road is also planned to be tied in to the existing road at Granary Court.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection during normal public opening hours, Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays at the following locations from 24 September - 23 October:

• Edenderry Municipal District, Edenderry Town Hall, Edenderry, Co Offaly.

• Edenderry Library, JKL Street, Edenderry, Co Offaly.

• Offaly County Council Offices, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Co Offaly.
