Construction work is continuing on the £14 million Erskine House redevelopment project in Belfast.
Graham Construction is delivering a new Grade A office accommodation development on the site and handover is scheduled for February 2019.
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has signed an agreement to lease over 100,000 sq ft of office space within Erskine House for a period of 25 years and around 1,600 employees are expected to move into the new HMRC office upon completion.
As part of the project, Graham is using BIM 360 Field, an innovative digital construction tool, to help the on-site team deliver a "stand-out build".
Contract Manager, Andrew Moore, explained: "I am really proud of the way the site team has implemented BIM 360 Field into its daily workflows.
"Having worked on projects without digital technology previously, I can really see the difference BIM 360 Field provides, it makes capturing and sharing information faster and easier and will ensure that Erskine House will stand out as a high-quality build."
Graham's Head of Quality Development and Supply Chain Management, Keith Patrick, said: "It's great to see another of our projects fully embracing BIM 360 Field. Information captured through the use of quality checklists is helping the site team deliver a building of the highest quality to HMRC. This is just one of the benefits delivered through the use of BIM."
