Resurfacing Work Announced In Lisburn

Resurfacing work is to begin on the Trench Road in Lisburn starting next week, Monday 13 September.

The £119,000 scheme involves resurfacing the stretch between Agnatrisk Road and Moira Road.

The work will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the road.

To facilitate the work it will be necessary to operate a daily road closure. From 03 September until 07 September the road closure will be in operation between 9.30 am and 6.00 pm and from 08 September until 10 October it will operate between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. During these times a diversionary route will be in operation via the Agnatrisk Road and Moira Road.

Road users may experience some delays in the vicinity and should allow additional time when planning any journeys.

It is expected work will be substantially completed by early October, subject to favourable weather conditions.
