Northern Ireland based construction company GRAHAM has secured a prestigious ISO certification for 'Collaborative Business Relationships'.
The ISO 44001 international certification was officially awarded to the company on 03 August following a rigorous Certification Stage 2 audit, which revealed zero non-conformances or areas for concern.
ISO 44001 represents a new generation of international standard and provides a common platform to harness the benefits of collaborative working.
GRAHAM has become one of only two UK contractors to receive the certification.
It follows GRAHAM's status as the first contractor in the UK to achieve Investors in People (IIP) Platinum and IIP Wellbeing accreditation and also the British Standards Institute (BSI) Dual KitemarkTM certification for both BIM Design and Construction (PAS 1192-2) and Asset Management (PAS 1192- 3).
Commenting on the attainment of the prestigious ISO accreditation, GRAHAM's Group Executive Chairman, Michael Graham, said: "The award of the ISO 44001 accreditation is a fantastic achievement and one that validates our unique way of working, whereby true collaboration is at the forefront of every relationship.
"As a truly national business, we are actively promoting and adopting collaborative best practice and this has helped shape our continual improvement and sustainable, responsible business growth, which is reflected in our impressive 2017/18 financial results.
"GRAHAM is in an excellent position and each of our divisions has a record order book and a pipeline of opportunity that is strong in both volume and quality.
"This international third-party accreditation is a ringing endorsement of how we are conducting our operations to the highest standards, adhering to open-book principles and founded on close collaboration with our clients, partners and Supply Chain."
