The work on Main Street is being carried out on behalf of NI Water and will recommence on Monday 13 August. It is expected to be completed by Friday 17 August.

The work involves the excavation of a number of exploratory trenches to confirm the location of existing services and assess ground conditions. The works are being carried out in advance of a larger project to upgrade the existing sewers in the area, which is planned for a later date, and will assist with the detailed design of this project.
A lane closure will be put in place on Main Street during the work. Due to location and nature of the works the main work will be undertaken during night-time hours.
