Work on a £1.4 million fit-out project at City Quays 2 in Belfast is now complete.
The project, which was delivered by Graham Construction for U105, has involved the transformation of the radio station's 10,500 sq ft office and broadcasting studio.
Eoin King, Project Manager for GRAHAM, said: "One of the world's largest media firms appointed GRAHAM to deliver this £1.4m office and broadcasting facility at its new state-of-the-art space in City Quays 2, the latest development to complete as part of Belfast Harbour's £250m regeneration scheme.
"The project, which started in September 2017, involved the creation of three broadcasting studios, an associated IT/transmission room, a reception and vending area, meeting rooms, and office space for both U105 and the digital businesses, Simply Zesty and Tibus.
"Our in-house design team developed the design of this project from its initial conception and managed it through to completion. We worked closely with an acoustic consultant carrying out acoustic testing throughout the build. This allowed us to assess quality and be certain that the finished product not only met but exceeded our client's expectations."
Peter McVerry, Station Manager at U105, said: "We wanted to create a purpose-built state of the art broadcasting space that would ensure we continue to deliver a premium service while supporting the company's wider development plans. GRAHAM has delivered on our vision. In fact, this is the best performing studio within the Group in terms of acoustics and functionality. We are absolutely delighted with the results."
