Improvement Work Continues On Limerick Road

Construction work on the Connagh to Knockalisheen Road development in Limerick has made significant progress.

The upgrades will provide an improved connection between nearby areas.

Other works in the scheme include a new link road to Moyross, and a new 3km urban style dual carriageway between the Coonagh Roundabout and the Knockalisheen Road, along the north-west side of the city.

Phase 1 has been underway for a year and is due to be completed in the coming months.

Limerick City and County Council is hosting an information afternoon in the Greenhills Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick on Monday 11 June from 3pm-8pm. The session will update the local community on works already underway and the future plans for the road to Knockalisheen.
