Planning permission has been approved to proceed with the development of the site at Oriel House.
The building which was formerly used as a residential unit for Older Persons will be extended and refurbished to provide an upgraded Mental Health Residential unit for patients on the St Davnet's campus who currently reside at Blackwater House.

The proposed development is for a single storey extension to the existing building, including a total of 16 en-suite bedrooms for full-time residents. It will also comprise a new entrance, reception area, nurse's station, offices, consultation rooms, storage, sanitary facilities and common areas.
There will also be a number of works to the existing building to include modifications and reconfiguration of internal areas. New windows are to be installed internally and external windows will remain in place. There are also a number of site works which will take place.
