ESF To Launch Stellar Bench In Birmingham

Construction News Image
Northern Ireland firm Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) has announced it is to launch its Stellar Bench in Birmingham.

The firm will unveil its versatile door bench which offers USB mobile device charging and utilises solar energy without the need for any electricity, at the Department for International Trade (DIT) exhibition, Innovate UK on Wednesday, 08 November.

The simple design of the bench allows solar energy to be collected and stored in the integrated battery system and it can be used as and when required.

Now exporting to 20 countries including the Middle East, USA and Australia, ESF has seen significant growth in terms of the products it supplies to the international market.

Managing Director of ESF, Alan Lowry said: "We are very excited about the launch of the Stellar Bench. This is the first product that ESF has designed and manufactured and we've worked long and hard with our solar technology experts to make sure this product was of the highest standard.

"High quality building materials have been used throughout including a toughened laminated glass top to ensure the bench weathers all seasons, as well as withstanding vandalism. The temperature controlled ventilated seating also makes the bench a very enticing option during the colder weather.

"Solar renewable energies are becoming more prevalent and with a number of Smart Cities across the globe, there is a greater need for products like this. One of the major USPs of the Stellar Bench is that it can be uniquely customised for each individual client with features that include WIFI, ambient LED lighting, themed or branded ends, signage and advertising, data gathering or various colour options.

"We live in a society where there is a need to be connected at all times and the placement of products like the solar bench, as well as the street charge units that we provide, means consumers will never run out of charge."
