Ark Housing Announces Plans To Deliver 200 New Builds In NI

A housing association in Northern Ireland has announced plans to deliver up to 200 units of new build accommodation over the next five years.

Ark Housing Acting CEO Jim McShane made the announcement at the launch of the firm's 2017-2022 Corporate Strategy.

Mr McShane said:"Ark's focus will be on both urban and rural regeneration, working in partnership to ensure delivery of tangible sustainable benefits to the local community."


Ark provides homes in North, West and South Belfast; South, East and North Down; Fermanagh and Antrim. Thee homes cater for a wide range of needs, including general families, single persons, older persons and homeless families, those with disabilities and those without. Ark also works with specialist partners to offer housing and support services to people recovering from mental illness, those with learning needs, and the frail elderly.
