Sponsored by Gas Networks Ireland the one day conference, at the Grand Hotel in Malahide, will be hosted by the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM).
The conference will look at the role gas will play in the future energy mix of Ireland, from now to 2050 and beyond. Among the many themes explored are: the role low carbon gas will play in decarbonising the gas network; the practicalities of injecting low carbon gas into the national gas network; and the effects of gas quality on the supply chain.
