Proposed Changes For Ballyfermot Road

A number of changes have been proposed for the Ballyfermot Road in Dublin.

The changes, suggested by Dublin City Council, would see the existing layout altered, while a tree-lined avenue would run along the 1km route from Kylemore Road roundabout to the Ballyfermot Community Civic Centre.


The proposals also include traffic management, a new road layout, redesigned parking, and a renewed public realm to provide greater pedestrian use. Improved cycleways and further greening are also under consideration.

The plans will be presented at Ballyfermot Library from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, 24 April.

The council has said that the views of all are welcome, particularly those living along the route and those with business interests.
