Construction News Image
Refurbishment work on an own door office building in Dublin's Central Business District (CBD) is expected to be completed this Summer.

A total of 80 construction jobs have been created as part of the €3.5 million refurbishment at 5 School House Lane.

The office is being brought o the letting market by Savills on behalf of Kennedy Wilson.

The six-month development has prioritised design with architects Henry J Lyons assigned to the project. Externally, the contemporary façade is made up of large glass panels and finished with granite and sandstone cladding. Inside, a double height reception foyer leads to a flexible open plan office space with floor to ceiling heights of between 2.6m and 2.8m. The third floor also benefits from an attractive roof terrace.

David O'Malley of Savills Ireland said: "5 School House Lane is positioned at the heart of Dublin’s Central Business District and the City's leading cultural amenities, eateries and transport links. The quality of this Grade A office accommodation, built to LEED Gold standard will serve occupiers with a very attractive workplace within Dublin's CBD. The location combined with the quality of office space makes this building particularly attractive, especially in view of the growing demand for prime office space in the City centre."
