Vayu Energy, in association with Action Renewables, has hosted a successful energy seminar at Holywood Golf Club in Co Down.
Discussions about the the new Integrated Single Energy Market (ISEM) and Energy Procurement was the main focus of the seminar.
Talking to the audience, comprising of some of NI's biggest energy users, speakers included Stephen Behan, Business Development Manager from Vayu Energy who took to the stage to talk about opportunities in the Wholesale Energy Markets, Senior Energy Consultant, Sandy Wito from Wito Energy who gave an insight into how ISEM will impact on companies across Northern Ireland.
Peter Girvan from Vayu Energy, said: "The energy market in Northern Ireland is undergoing a fundamental change in the way businesses procure and manage their energy. Minimising energy costs and achieving greater efficiencies are becoming even greater considerations. This is having a direct impact on the way companies across Ireland source their energy, with an increasing trend among larger users to procure energy directly on the wholesale market. At Vayu Energy we work with our customers to develop an energy strategy that is best for them.
"Our ISEM seminar is just the first of a number of seminars that Vayu is planning to deliver in Northern Ireland. We're looking forward to sharing information with customers and other businesses on the key issues that are impacting NI's businesses energy consumption and costs."
