Choice Housing has been featured in two categories; promoting integration and excellence in developing skills and capacity.
The firm's supported housing project at the Maples has been shortlisted in the Promoting Integration category. Situated on a contentious interface and in an area affiliated strongly with one community, The Maples scheme faced high voids and spiralling costs. However, a partnership between Choice and Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) transformed the project, integrating two different client services, reducing voids and bringing new opportunity in to the local community.

Choice will also be competing in the Excellence in Developing Skills and Capacity category with our Agile Working Initiative. The Agile Working Project is about delivering better customer facing services and streamlining internal operations by providing frontline officers with immediate access to key business applications and data whilst out on site. The project allows Choice to bring services directly to our tenants and improve services by reducing time spent on phone calls, paperwork and travel.
The CIH Annual Awards will be held in the Great Hall at City Hall in Belfast on Friday, 24 February.
