Antrim Manufacturing Firm Acquires Select Timber Products

Antrim manufacturing firm Springfarm Architectural Mouldings (SAM) has bought Lincolnshire based Select Timber Products.

SAM manufactures high quality MDF mouldings, including skirting and architrave, for use across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Select Timber, based in Spalding, has been supplying interior mouldings products to the construction industry since 1989. All 25 employees from Select Timber will remain in their roles following the acquisition.


SAM will operate with a distribution centre in the south-east of England.

The company will use the facility to target further expansion in its export markets, including Europe.

Paul Lavery, Commercial Director at SAM and Managing Director at Select Timber, said: "The past two years have been a particularly exciting time for SAM as we have doubled in size. We are keen to build on this momentum and we are looking ahead to the next five years with a focused and goal orientated strategy in place."
