A total of £268,300 has been allocated for the scheme at the Strand Road and Clooney Terrace.
A total of 16 properties will benefit from the project which aims to improve and provide some uniformity to shop frontage appearances within the area.

The improvement works include the installation of new shop frontages, painting, replacement of rainwater goods, and repairing or replacement of windows, doors and external plasterwork.
The Mayor said: "This funding will have a significant impact on businesses in both the Waterside and Cityside areas of Londonderry. At a time when a lot of businesses face economic challenges these improvements will assist in transforming some of the city's busiest areas and encourage other property owners to maintain the general upkeep of our commercial premises. The ReStore scheme is an excellent initiative that demonstrates the ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses offered by a range of local partners."
