Work Starts On £200,000 Road Improvement Project In Co Tyrone

Preliminary work has started on a £200,000 road improvement and resurfacing project in Clogher, Co Tyrone.

The scheme on the A4 Ballagh Road will extend from Fintona Road to Findermore Road.

Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard: "This £200,000 scheme represents a significant investment in the roads infrastructure in the Mid Ulster area on this important arterial route between Ballygawley Roundabout and Enniskillen. Road users will realise the long term benefits from the new road surface along this stretch.

"In addition to the resurfacing scheme the opportunity has also been taken to construct a right turning lane into Ashfield Road adjacent to Clogher Cricket Pitch. This will help to improve traffic flow and increase road safety."

Roads used in the diversions will include Fintona Road, Tempo Road, Ecclesville Road and Murley Road.
