DUP Welcomes Development Of Transport Hub In L'Derry

The development of a transport hub in Co L'Derry will help regenerate the area, according to DUP MLA Gary Middleton.

Mr Middleton had recently tabled a question to the Infrastructure Minister asking for an update on the project and today has welcomed the Minister's commitment to develop a transport hub in the area.


He said: "The benefits of good infrastructure are well-known in terms of connectivity, encouraging tourism and increasing business opportunities. This new investment will regenerate the area and will create jobs, representing a real boost to the economy in the North-West.

"For people living in the city and surrounding areas, news that the Old Waterside Station will be transformed is a welcome development. It will breathe life into what is a historic and iconic building in Londonderry."
