NIE Networks Warns Of Bogus Callers In Co Antrim

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) has issued a warning to householders living the the Whitehead area in Co Antrim to be aware of bogus callers.

The energy firm recently received reports of bogus callers claiming to be from the company calling at a home in the area.

Christine Baker, NIE Networks' Customer Relations Manager for the area says: "We take reports of anyone impersonating our staff very seriously. If someone calls to your door saying they are from NIE Networks, please ask to see their ID pass. Legitimate NIE Networks' employees will be only too happy to show you their identification."
