Serious Concerns Raised Over Residents Living Conditions In Constitution Hill

Serious concerns have been raised over residents living conditions in Constitution Hill, Dublin.

Sinn Féin Dublin City Cllr Janice Boylan is calling on Dublin City Council (DCC) management to heed the reasonable requests from residents of the flat complex.

Cllr Boylan said: "A very active and articulate group of women, men and children have come together to say 'no more'.

"No more to their flat complex being neglected by Luas, DIT and Dublin City Council; no more to their needs being brushed aside; no more to the lives of their children being put at risk.


"We have a situation where these residents highlighted multiple issues two years ago outlying their concerns and almost foreseeing the many issues that have now arisen. For example, one of the issues is that the children of the flat complex do not have a safe play area. This is a real concern and the need to have a play facility in the complex is of utmost importance.

"The residents have my full support in looking for their reasonable requests to be met and I would do all within my capacity as a Dublin City Cllr to assist them.

"To this end, I have organised another meeting for the residents this Tuesday at 5pm in the Macro Centre."
