New customers who sign up to Bord Gáis Energy will get 10% off electricity as well as €100 cash back.
New Bord Gáis Energy customers for gas will get 8% off and a free boiler service, while new dual fuel customers will receive discounts of 12% off electricity, 10% off gas, a free boiler service and €100 cash back.
Mark Prentice, Head of Retail with Bord Gáis Energy, said: "We're always looking for helpful ways to offer value to new customers and to reward our existing loyal customers. We proactively reduced our gas and electricity prices ahead of all other suppliers on two occasions in 2015, with our latest decrease taking effect in October ahead of the colder winter period. As wholesale prices have fallen over the last 12 months we have reduced our prices as quickly as possible for the benefit of our customers and have, over the last four years, offered the lowest standard electricity prices in the market. Customers switching to Bord Gáis Energy can have confidence that our introductory offers are backed up by ongoing low prices and discounts."
