Powrmatic Ireland Now Stocking New, Economical, Twist-Lock, Twin Wall Stove S-Flue Range

Construction News Image
With the heating season firmly upon us and the popularity of wood-burning stoves ever on the increase, homeowners and installers alike are always looking for a healthy balance of quality and affordability. The most important factors in deciding on a stove and flue system must always be safety, followed by performance, life expectancy and ease of installation/maintenance. These are all excellent reasons to choose a manufactured flue system from a market leading company with over 40 years of experience.

Sflue from SFL Flues and Chimneys (Formerly known as Selkirk Manufacturing) follows in the footsteps of time honoured brands such as NOVA® and EUROPA. Powrmatic Ireland now stocking the new, economical, twist-lock, twin wall Stove S-Flue Range, designed as an entry-level chimney system specifically for wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves. Sflue is available in four internal diameters from 127mm (5") to 203mm (8") and features a multi-barb, twist-lock coupling system for ease of installation and high mechanical strength. The range of components is specific to stove installation, complete with an aesthetically pleasing straight adaptor for direct mounting. Each component is supplied with locking bands as standard.

Sflue features a fully welded 316L corrosion resistant liner, 25mm of high-performance rockwool insulation at a factory controlled density of 250kg/m3 (enabling the flue to be installed with a minimum 50mm to combustible surfaces), and an elegantly polished, fully welded stainless steel outer skin.

The construction provides a high thermal resistance which ensures rapid stabilisation of the flue gas temperature and draught, whilst maintaining relatively low temperature on the external surface of the chimney. Sflue is designed for internal and external installation, and is suitable for negative pressure applications.

Sflue has been developed to provide a high quality chimney with a fine pedigree at an attractive price. It is CE marked, HETAS listed, comes with a 10 year warranty, and is completely British-made.
