Murdock Builders' Merchants was awarded the contract to supply all building and joinery material for the £8 million restoration project at Mount Stewart.
Mount Stewart, which is located on the shores of Strangford Lough, recently re-opened following three years of restoration work.
The Murdock's team has also been applauded by the National Trust for its role in the project and in particular for the "proactive and innovative approach to problem solving" provided by its experts.

As the largest and most demanding conservation project undertaken by the National Trust in NI, the contract awarded to Murdocks required precise skills, expertise and bespoke product design.
Replacing old joists and roofing trusses – some of which were over eight metres in length - was a particular challenge. As they were too long to transport and required bespoke design, the National Trust's joinery experts worked with Murdocks to set up a production facility in Mount Stewart. This enabled the joiners to craft all structures by hand to ensure quality and consistency throughout.
