Mr Thomas Morley pleaded guilty to the charges and was also ordered to pay costs of £393.60 at Newry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
On 15 July 2014, officers from the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and PSNI, with the assistance of HMRC, conducted a joint inspection of premises owned by Mr Moley and his wife at 112 Cullaville Road.

Approximately four tonnes of fuel laundering waste was found alongside a fuel laundering plant, the majority of which was removed by HMRC. A quantity of mixed controlled waste had also been deposited there, despite the site having no licence or authorisation to store, keep or treat waste.
Despite being directed to remove the mixed waste from their premises in accordance with legislation, Mr Moley failed to do so.
