Interim Executive Board Appointed To The Dublin Docklands Development Authority

An interim Executive Board has been appointed to the Dublin Docklands Development Authority to replace the existing Board.

The new Executive Board comprises three current board members who are being re-appointed and five new members, all senior officials from Dublin City Council. The latter appointments are based on the transitional stage towards integration of responsibility for development of the Dublin Docklands area back into the City Council. The Chief Executive of Dublin City Council, Mr. Owen Keegan, will serve as the new Chairperson of the Executive Board.


The full list of new Executive Board members is as follows:

• Michael Stubbs (former Assistant City Manager, Dublin City Council) – re- appointed;

• Lucy McCaffrey (Chairperson, Dublin Port Company) – re-appointed;

• Charlie Murphy (Communications Manager, Dublin Port Company) – re- appointed;

• Brendan Kenny (Assistant Chief Executive, Culture, Recreation, Amenity and Community Department, Dublin City Council);

• Rose Kenny (Executive Manager, South East Area and Central Area, Dublin City Council);

• Jim Keogan (Executive Manager, Planning and Property Management, Dublin City Council);

• John W Flanagan (Executive Manager, Environment and Transportation - Roads and Traffic, Dublin City Council); and

• Owen Keegan (Chief Executive, Dublin City Council) (Chairperson).
