€3.5m For 'Love/Hate' Apartment Block

An apartment block consisting of 14 properties has been put on the market by Savills.

The move has been instructed by Declan Taite, Receiver, of Duff & Phelps.

It is understood the guide price for The Granary block is €3.5m.

The building was originally used as a whiskey distillery, but it is also the location of the penthouse apartment featured in the hit Irish crime-drama, Love/Hate.

It has been said that the current tenants of The Granary will not be affected by the sale. The apartment block consists of one-, two- and three-bed apartments, while the penthouse has been left vacant to accommodate viewings until it is let.

Communal areas include a storage unit extending to 53 sq m, while Clontarf, Drumcondra, Fairview and Phibsborough are all nearby. It is also close to Dublin city centre.

The Granary is located at Distillery Lofts, Dublin 9.

David Browne of Savills said: "The Granary is one of the most exciting multi-family investment opportunities to come to the market this year. We have already had enquiries from local and international investors who are attracted by this high quality, well-located, spacious and historical building situated only minutes away from Dublin city centre."
