Energia Scoops €500,000 Contract With Horse Racing Ireland

Energia has scooped a two-year contract with Horse Racing Ireland, worth €500,000, to supply over 4 GWHrs of electricity to power four leading racecourses.

Energia will be supplying the racetracks at Fairyhouse, Leopardstown, Tipperary and Navan.

John Murphy, Head of Operations and Finance, HRI Racecourses, commented: "Horse Racing Ireland is always keen to find the best suppliers, especially for key areas like utilities. Thanks to the competitively priced electricity on offer from Energia, we are odds on to make real savings on our energy costs. This prospect, combined with their first rate customer service and energy expertise, meant that Energia were the clear winner for us."
