KMG Undergoes A Rebrand

Killarney Manufacturing Group (KMG), headed by its founding company Killarney Plastics, is undergoing a rebrand which will see companies within its existing structure renamed to Tricel.

The group, which has companies spread across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe under a number of different names is moving into a new era under the Tricel banner to promote its unique vision. Tricel is already an established name in a number of countries and the rebrand is a positive step in signifying the future success of the company.

Building on a sustained record of growth and achievement since its foundation in 1973, Killarney Plastics has become the market leader in the supply of Water Tanks,

Environmental products, Materials and Construction products, thus becoming the figure head company in the Killarney Manufacturing Group (KMG). With more than 250 employees, KMG exports a wide range of products to over 50 countries worldwide. The original Tricel brand was established in 2002 as the company expanded into new markets and 2014 is the perfect time to implement the rebrand so that all aspects of the company can come together under a progressive new identity.

The existing expertise in product development and design will be maintained following the rebrand, together with the leadership structure that has steered the group to its current success as a market leader in the industry. The new Tricel brand proposition signifies the beginning of an exciting time for the group as it eyes up further expansion and the strengthening of existing customer and supplier relationships.

Speaking alongside Minister Jimmy Deenihan as the new Tricel sign was installed at the group headquarters in Killarney, Managing Director Michael Stack said: "I am very excited to be leading the group as it enters a new era under the Tricel banner. When we began this rebranding process a clear vision was laid out as to what we wanted it to achieve and I am delighted with the way it has turned out.

"Since 2002 the Tricel name has been one of the leading lights in the group structure and I feel that now is the most opportune time to place it front and centre of what we are offering."
