Eurolink, operators of the M3 and M4 motorways, has chosen leading independent energy provider Energia as its energy supplier in a new 3 Gigawatt (3 Gwhrs ) deal.
Eurolink M3 and M4 are the two Public Private Partnership Companies responsible for the build and operation of two motorways within Ireland. The M3 and M4 motorways demonstrate a good example of the public and private sectors working together to deliver quality infrastructure critical to the development of the economy as well as improving road safety.
Under the terms of the deal, which will be worth in the region of €300,000 annually, Energia will supply Eurolink’s tolling operations at Kilcock and Dunboyne with over 3 Gigawatt hours (GWhrs) of electricity.
Commenting on the deal Enda Tyrrell, Operations Manager with Eurolink said: "Eurolink puts a premium on both competitively priced energy and quality customer service. We found both with Energia and are happy to be renewing this energy supply deal with them."
Shane Canavan, Key Account Manager, Energia commented: "On the back of winning large numbers of new business customers and keeping our existing business, including Eurolink, Energia has built its market share to over 28% of the business electricity and gas market. Energia’s competitive energy offerings, gas, and green and conventional power, can make a real difference to businesses’ bottom line.
"Added to the price package Energia offers excellent customer service and with Energia On-line customers can also analyze and interrogate their energy consumption, discover usage patterns and produce reports. This information in turn can be used with another product, the Energia Bureau, to manage energy efficiency projects in the business."
