The approval is for 48 additional bedrooms and a new leisure suite, comprising a swimming pool and gym, at the County Antrim resort.

"My Department is committed to delivering swiftly for business and prevent delays for those seeking to provide significant investment. Whilst some of the ground work was laid in an earlier planning approval, this amended scheme was turned around in under eight weeks.
"My vision is for the DOE to build a better environment and a stronger economy. This speedy decision on this hotel expansion will help do that."
