Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland has announced the launch of free Wi-Fi, as part of the revitalisation of Dungannon town centre.
The Wi-Fi is one element of a three-fold revitalisation project undertaken in Dungannon town centre which also included visual improvements in the town centre.
The project received £120,500 funding from the Northern Ireland Executive through the Department for Social Development, and the Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council managed the delivery of the project.
Speaking about the completed revitalisation work, Minister McCausland said: "This £120,000 investment by the Executive through my Department's Revitalisation Scheme has helped to transform Dungannon town centre making it a Wi-Fi hotspot.
"This service will be of tremendous benefit to visitors, shoppers and retailers alike and will help local businesses on the High Street weather these difficult economic times. It will also create a local customer base, assist customers search for goods and services as well as make Dungannon more appealing socially and economically."
The Minister continued: "The successfully completed painting and signage scheme has improved the streetscape and made the town centre more attractive. This project has shown that working in partnership can help strengthen the offering in the town centre.
"This is another step in Dungannon's development while at the same time enhancing all visitors experience allowing access to important information about Dungannon and all it has to offer."
