Resurfacing Scheme To Begin In Lisburn

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy announced the start of a £215k resurfacing scheme at Prince William Road and Antrim Road roundabouts in Lisburn.

The work is due to begin on 24 June 2013 on the roundabouts.

The Minister said: "This scheme will increase the life of the road, greatly improving the strength and ride quality of the carriageway."

Works on the roundabouts will commence each evening from approximately 8.00pm and continue until 6.00am each morning. During these works both roundabouts will be closed to ensure the safety of road users and the operations on site. Diversion will be via the Knockmore Road /Moira Road.

The scheme is expected to be completed by 30 June 2013.
