The works are being carried out to improve upon the poor collision history at this location and will include some minor road realignment works; an upgrade of the existing signing and roadmarkings; in combination with an asphalt resurfacing scheme.

Roads Service has combined these works to minimise any inconvenience to the public. A road closure will be in operation until Thursday 20 December 2012. This closure is operational only between 0930hrs and 1630hrs to facilitate peak hour traffic flows with traffic being diverted via the B3 Tassagh Road, B31 Newtownhamilton and A29 Keady Road.
A further closure for five days will be required early in the new year to facilitate the completion of the resurfacing works.
