Resurfacing On B4 Drumlish Road Begins

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy announced the start of a £200,000 major resurfacing scheme on B4 Drumlish Road. The work, between A32 Clanabogan Road and C665 Camderry Road, is due to begin today, 24 September 2012.

The Minister said: "The works will improve the structural condition of this stretch of carriageway and also enhance its running surface."

A full closure of this stretch of B4 Drumlish Road will be in place for two periods each of 5 days commencing on Monday 24 September and Monday 1 October respectively to allow final surfacing. Traffic will be diverted at the Lack Fingerpost and Minnowburns junctions via Dromore. The scheme is expected to be completed on by Friday 5 October 2012.


The above planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and Roads Service will keep the public informed of any change.

Roads Service has carefully programmed the works operations and traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however motorists should be aware that some delays may be expected and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.
