Winners To Be Announced For North Central Area City Neighbourhood Awards

Dublin's Lord Mayor Naoise Ó Muirí will present certificates to the winners and participants of the North Central Area City Neighbourhood Awards on 6th September 2012 at 5.30pm in St. Brigid's Resource Centre, Howth Road, Killester, Dublin 5.

"The North Central Area City Neighbourhood Awards are now an institution on the Northside of our city. It is great to see local community leaders striving to improve their areas in tandem with Dublin City council. Top prizes are always hotly contested so I look forward to hearing the results," said the Lord Mayor.


The City Neighbourhood Competition has a long standing in Dublin City where many of our citizens, schools and businesses participate and contribute to improving their city. The essence of the competition is the local residents and businesses working in conjunction with Dublin City Council to enhance their area– with the motto ‘helping us to help you’ being at the core of the whole event. All measures taken by the entrants to control litter and graffiti in their areas will be acknowledged on the awards night.
