Mr Heading said many residents had contacted him with concerns about safety and costs of repairs.

He said: "I'm calling on the Roads Service to adopt certain roads in Mount Eagles where residents have been left high and dry through no fault of their own by the developer going out of business.
"There are on-going concerns regarding the safety of the current surface not to mention the costs of repairs to car and vehicles having to travel over such roads.
"I'm calling for the private roads to be finished to the same standard as the public roads around the estate that are also awaiting completion in the programme of work."
