Agnew Timber based in Redhills, Co. Cavan, is a family owned company established in 1962, employing more than 30 people and has a proven track record and envious reputation for the manufacture of high quality timber mouldings.
The exclusive use of natural timber is a feature of all their products. The company can cater for all specialised needs, including a profile matching service, bespoke moulding and short run requirements.
State-of–the-art finishing is available in four different products; pre-primed wood, pre-painted wood, pre-stained wood and pre-varnished wood, which are now available to purchase online at: www.agnewtimber.com for delivery direct to your door.
Agnew works closely with selected mills to maintain quality and consistency.
This is achieved by sourcing only quality timber mainly from Finland and from its investment in bespoke stock control which provides traceability from supply to delivery.
A typical initiative by Agnew was the company’s introduction of pre-varnished
solid white oak to their product list. It is consistent with Agnew’s philosophy of
manufacturing what customers demand.
To ensure the warehouse operated efficiently and customer orders are picked quickly and accurately, Agnew Timber decided to invest in Cantilever Racks for their storage purposes.
OHRA came on board, working closely with Andrew Agnew to provide the optimum design and configuration of the racking to suit Agnew Timbers requirements.
OHRA Cantilever Racking is a specialist manufacturer of racks designed for the storage of timber products.
The racks manufactured by OHRA exclusively use Hot Rolled solid walled structural steel, in contrast to the standard thin walled sheet steel, this ensures the strength and durability of OHRA racks even under the toughest warehouse conditions.
In addition, with its unique arm locking system, which allows for easy adjustment of arm heights and the flexibility to move reducing damage to both racks and materials if accidently struck during loading and picking operations.
Visit OHRA’s website www.ohra.ie to see the full range of products and storage solutions OHRA can provide.
