To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses the majority of this work is programmed to be completed using off-peak lane closures, as well as overnight closures.
The off-peak lane closures will commence on Monday 16 January 2011 and continue until 26 February 2012. During off-peak lane closures two-way traffic flow will be maintained.

Between Monday 20 February and Thursday 23 February 2012 works on the Ravenhill Road will commence each evening from 2100hrs and continue until 0500hrs the next morning. During these night time closures all traffic will be diverted via Albertbridge Road, Albert Bridge, East Bridge Street, Cromac Street and Ormeau Road.
A full closure of the Ravenhill Road will be in place on Sunday 26 February 2012 to allow final surfacing and all traffic will be diverted as above.
The above planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and Roads Service will keep the public informed of any change.
