KCC Architectural have extended their product offering to architects and contractors with the addition of Reinaerdt timber doorsets and 'Best of Steel' steel door frames, to compliment their existing portfolio of architectural ironmongery and access control products.
KCC Architectural (Dublin/Cork/Belfast/London/Qatar), has been specifying the full range of Reinardt doorsets and BOS steel door frames in hospital, schools & universities, offices, hotels, banks, stadiums, airports and also residential developments for over a decade.
Some of the land mark projects that incorporate doorsets & steel frames are St. Vincent's Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Santry Sports Injury Clinic, Kerry & Ennis General Hospitals and the Point Village Dublin.
REINAERDT Doors
The Reinaerdt range of doorsets is available with Maple, Beech, Oak, Limba or Sapeli real wood veneer finishes.
For a more stylish and individual appeal the doorsets can also be manufactured with a white-lacquer finish or specified to any RAL colour reference. All white and colour-lacquered door elements are finished with an eightfold lacquer coating and have a satin-finished surface.
Door frames and architraves can also be manufactured to ensure a consistent quality appearance and finish to the doorset.
Both timber veneered and the HPL OR PVC doors are available in a wide range of standard and bespoke sizes, with a wide range of beading, glazing and aperture finishes.
BOS Frames
BOS steel door frames are highly durable and engineered with aesthetic architectural precision.
Available in stainless steel and powder coated steel to any RAL colour, the range is available in over 200 profiles to cover all applications including commercial, education, residential, health care and pharmaceutical. The frames are engineered to fit any wall dimension and all construction methods.
Designed with pioneering German engineering and produced in state of the art production facilities the BOS range of steel door frames guarantees an architectural level finish to any project.
QUALITY
Reinaerdt doorsets are factory finished and require no on-site decoration, ensuring a consistent, high quality finish on every doorsets. Reinaerdt's patented HPL production process ensures that the tonal contrasts in colour and finish are reliably consistent across every component of the doorset, frame and architrave.
On-site preparatory work is virtually eliminated as all architectural ironmongery, door furniture fittings and access control requirements can be engineered into the manufacturing process, ensuring a consistently high standard of finish on every doorset.
Rema steel frames are also engineered to fit with the architectural ironmongery, door fittings and access control specification.
FIRE RATING
Westag doorsets finished with timber frames have fire and smoke certification ratings for FD30, FD 60 and FD90. Rema steel frames also have FD30, FD60 and FD90 fire and smoke certification when used with timber door leaves
ACOUSTICS
For residential and projects requiring noise management, Westag doorsets can be manufactured to withstand noise levels reaching 46 DB, conforming with EN ISO 140. Rema steel frames can be sound insulated with the use of mineral wool.
HEALTH CARE
Reinaerdt and BOS products have been widely specified in health care projects across Europe. Both products are available with anti-bacterial agents that inhibit the growth of hospital acquired infections (HAI's) such as MRSA and E-Coli.
Reinaerdt manufacture radiation protection doorsets that conform to DIN 6834. Rema steel frames can also be installed in X-ray situations. The frames can be lead lined up to 4mm, depending on the level of radiation resistance required.
